Carrie Struck grew up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  After graduating from Winnebago Lutheran Academy she attended Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, graduating with a degree in elementary education. Her first teaching assignment was at Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan, where she taught freshman English and physical education. After spending two years at MLS, she was assigned to teach at Apostles Lutheran School in San Jose, California, where she taught for eight years.  While in San Jose, she met her husband, Michael.  After her first child was born, she stopped teaching full time to devote more time to her family.  Six years and two children later, the Strucks moved back to the Midwest settling in Lake Mills. There, Carrie began her teaching at St. Paul where she has been teaching 8th grade since 1999.  In her time away from school, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family.
