If there is a school closing, late start or early dismissal due to weather, radio and television stations will announce this information. Tune-in to radio WTTN (AM-1580), WFAW (AM-940), WTMJ (AM-620) or WSJY (FM-107.3) for closures.

Snow cancellations at St. Paul due to weather are held in conjunction with Lake Mills School District bus service. Please listen carefully for mention of Lake Mills Public Schools as St Paul receives their bus service from the Lake Mills School District. The Lake Mills School District home page "link" will also alert you if Lake Mills schools are closed.

Childcare, 3K, 4K when weather bulletins are posted
* IF NO SCHOOL…then no-3K, no-4K & no-childcare.
* IF EARLY DISMISSAL (usually 12:30pm)…then note No-4K-pm. Childcare closes ASAP (as soon as arrangements made & safe departures can be provided.)
* IF LATE START (usually 10am start) then No-3K-am, No-4K-am but Yes-childcare-6:30am, Yes-4K-pm.

Because LLHS’s Weather Related Early Dismissals are more frequent, we urge distant & rural departures among our LLHS bus riders, but strongly suggest other 3PM carpooling or LMSD bussing for those within the community…unless a parent calls with specific needs
