CRADLE ROLL

The Cradle Roll started many years ago by Mr. Gerald Kastens as a way to introduce our smallest, and newest, members of St. Paul Lutheran Church.  At various times, after the newborn baby has been baptized, we place the child’s name, birth date, and baptismal date on the church bulletin board.  We try to rotate the names, removing a child’s name after being baptized for one year.  This child’s name is replaced by a newly baptized child.  We have made a policy to limit the cradle roll to newborns, due to lack of space.

Delivered to the new born's family on a scheduled regular basis iis a packet titled "Growing in Christ". The packets are designed to provide new parents with resources to help them with their child's spiritual growth.
