The Finance Board is responsible for handling all financial matters of St. Paul Evangelical. Lutheran Church in a Christian, legal, and logical manner.
The Finance Board establishes committees that are responsible for receiving, counting, depositing, dispersing, recording, and reporting the funds of the congregation. Individuals or committees also are assigned by the Finance Board to be responsible for the ordering and delivery of offering envelopes. Committees and individuals are also assigned by the Finance Board to collect, record, and process gifts to special funds including the Trust Funds and the Gifts of Love Fund .
The Finance Board is also responsible for preparation of the annual budget for the operation of the congregation according to the prescribed methods outlined by the church council.
The treasurer of the congregation shall act as the chairman of the Finance Board.
The Finance Board shall consist of five elected voting members of the congregation. The current board members are:
