At St. Paul, we want our youth to grow in their relationship with God. We want them to know his love—that in Jesus their Savior they are forgiven, are God’s dear children, and have a home with him in heaven forever. We want them to mature in living their Christian faith, showing God’s love to everyone around them and standing strong in an increasingly post-Christian world.

Sunday School: 3K-5th Grade

The Bible is full of stories about God stepping in our world for the sake of his people … whether that’s David facing Goliath or Jesus dying on the cross and rising from the dead. Those Bible history stories are perfect for engaging young minds with the truth of God’s Word and preparing them for future instruction about what God’s Word teaches. We use a curriculum that teaches the main Bible stories of the Old Testament and New Testament over about four years. Our Sunday School meets on Sunday morning from September through May between our two worship services. Children age 3K through 5th grade start together and then break out into age appropriate lessons and activities. Walk-ins are welcome. Catechism Class: Grades 5-8

After our youth know the basic Bible stories of God’s plan of salvation, we want them to dig deeper into what God says about us and our relationship with him. A core part of our religious instruction in our school is that our pastors teach Christian doctrine to our upper grade students using the Lutheran catechism as an outline. We also have catechism classes on Wednesday afternoons from September through April for students in grades 5-8 who are not receiving catechism instruction in our Lutheran elementary school. Youth Group: Grades 7-12

Youth Group is open to teens in grades 7-12. Most events require no cost to attend, unless specifically stated. Contact Us for more information.

  • Bible Studies - studying God's Word throughout the school year.

  • Service Opportunities - aiding and assisting other church activities and groups.

  • Outreach - planning and holding events in the community in conjunction with the church calendar.

  • Fellowship - gathering with church members and friends while growing in faith through devotions and fun activities.

A note to parents:

Adolescence can be a fun and exciting stage of life. It can also be scary and challenging. The youth group at St. Paul not only helps your child gather knowledge and grow in their faith, it also gives them a variety of adult mentors to lead and guide them.
